Richard Gober "RG" is the founder of Panic Stricken. He has spent the majority of his time with Panic Stricken, but before that was a founder of the RJE Band in Austin and played acoustically around Austin before that. He is from Beaumont, Texas but discovered his love of Widespread Panic and so many other influences in Oxford, MS. Before Austin, he played in a duo called Gober & Cribbs in Beaumont, Texas and with David Dickson of This Is Our Band in Houston, TX. He has been singing for beer and money for about 25 years now.
